Munich's Longest Terrace

Head straight through the Schwabinger Tor to feast, raise a glass, and celebrate summer: On August 15, the neighborhood will transform into a terrace stretching about 500 meters.

The neighborhood’s restaurants and bars will bring their specials outdoors—from Italian cuisine at Marta to Vietnamese dishes at Jaadin to steakhouse classics from La Bohème and select wines from the Max & Moritz Social Club.

There’s also live music and DJ sets echoing through the car-free neighborhood. If you’d like to get musical yourself, you can try your hand at the “Play Me!” piano . And those who’d rather just relax can make themselves comfortable in the lounge chairs with a drink.

So: Grab a friend, sample the offerings, move on, and enjoy a long summer evening right in the heart of Munich.
