Come join us at the 1st Munich Book Fair!
The 1st Munich Book Fair will take place on November 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the MTC in Munich.
Numerous exhibitors, genres, and an exciting stage program await you, including special guests such as audiobook narrator Vincent Fallow and voice actress and actress Franciska Friede.
A key focus of the fair is the Romantasy genre and Asian pop culture, including manga and cosplay. Across approximately 8,000 square meters of exhibition space, exhibitors will present their books and, upon request, sign them for purchase.
On the upper level, visitors can look forward to readings, the “Bücherbüchse,” workshops, lectures, a panel discussion, and the live recording of a special book fair episode of the podcast “Weird Writers” in the various rooms.

There is a box office on site for anyone who decides on the spur of the moment to attend the 1st Munich Book Fair. Please note: Expect wait times! Visitors with online tickets will be given priority. Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more at a discounted price—please email info@muenchner-buchmesse.de to request the discount code. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Eligible for discounts are all schoolchildren, apprentices, students, retirees, and anyone with a disability rating of 50 or higher (GdB 50) who presents any form of identification. Persons with severe disabilities (classified as “B” on their disability ID) pay the reduced price. Their companion receives free admission but must have their own ticket. MBM VIP Ticket includes a goodie bag and a beverage voucher.
