The munich creative business week (mcbw), organized by bayern design, is Germany's largest design event and platform for new ideas, trends and creativity. It promotes interdisciplinary exchange and makes design a comprehensive experience by bringing together designers, experts, companies and students from disciplines such as design, architecture and business as well as the general public over nine days. With a new festival headquarters, key visual and the highly topical, socially relevant annual motto "How to co-create with nature", it will take place for the 13th time in Munich from May 11 to 19, 2024. The mcbw motto for 2024: "How to co-create with nature"
Together with our 2024 partners and all interested parties, we want to explore how design in its various forms can help us learn to work together with nature (again), accept it as a co-designer and live and grow together with it: collaborate instead of dominate. To give these considerations a clear direction, we have developed a motto that sums up what we are about and what it should be about: "How to co-create with nature".

Stefano Boeri is the creative explorer of munich creative business week 2024
With his work, the renowned Italian architect and architecture professor Stefano Boeri exemplifies the new mcbw annual motto "How to co-create with nature" and, with his role as mcbw creative explorer, provides important food for thought for next year's design week in May. He is also the author and editor of the publication "Green Obsession. Trees towards Cities. Humans towards Forests" (2021) and will speak as a key note speaker at the mcbw design summit on May 13, 2024 at the Munich Urban Colab.
