Münster entdecken | Zeitreise-Schnitzeljagd Stadtrallye | Magische Rätseltour mit Fun Facts
In the organizer's words:
Do you fancy getting out and about, but the classic city stroll doesn't feel like enough? Then this is your tip for Münster: a self-guided puzzle tour through the cycling city - from the square in front of the city library through the city center - that turns a normal afternoon out into something you won't soon forget.
You immerse yourself in a story that begins with a real problem: Jeremias, a member of the secret community of time travelers, has forgotten the last ingredient for his magic potion. He can't get any further without your help. You translate documents in a secret language, answer wondrous questions, decipher cryptic directions - and each puzzle challenges your brain cells in a different way. Jeremiah will personally guide you through the city, telling you stories that he himself finds the funniest - and which are all true, without exception.
The concept is simple: you book, receive your access code by email no later than 24 hours later and start whenever you want. Everything runs via a web app directly in your browser - no download, no preparation, no guide. Just a smartphone, battery and mobile internet. The game takes around 1.5 to 2.5 hours, the puzzles vary in difficulty and are entertaining - even for people who don't usually like puzzles. One member of the team will always see the crucial clue that the others have overlooked.
Along the way, you will discover sides of Münster that you would otherwise have simply walked past - the city library as a starting point, sights in the city center from unusual perspectives, corners off the beaten track. There are also recommendations for stops along the way: cafés, photo spots and local insider tips that we have selected ourselves.
And in between, you'll learn things about Münster that most people don't know:
🚲 Did you know that the people of Münster call their bikes "Leezen" - and that there are more bikes in Münster than inhabitants?
🌀 Did you know what a "howling curve" is - and why it has become an urban legend in Münster?
☮️ Did you know that the Peace of Westphalia, which ended the Thirty Years' War, was signed in Münster in 1648 - making the city one of the most important places of peace in Europe?
🏰 Did you know that over 90 percent of Münster was destroyed during the Second World War - and was then rebuilt true to the original, stone by stone?
We developed the tour ourselves: We walked the route, designed the puzzles on site and wrote the story - tailored to what you actually see and find in this city. No AI, no modular principle. The result: you'll see Münster with different eyes - even if you've lived here forever.
The perfect upgrade for an afternoon in the city. For a spontaneous excursion, a relaxed date, a family day or simply something different from the usual round. If you want, you can compete against each other in competition mode - several teams start at the same time, points are awarded for speed and how few clues you need. If you don't want to fight, just enjoy the path with a little more story. From 1 person, approx. 2 hours, recommended for ages 14 and up.
