Muschelsalat 2025: Collektiv ContAKT - "Foley"

"Foley" is a contemporary circus piece with rousing live music that explores the highs and lows of togetherness. Five acrobats and a musician start off in harmony with the music, but soon question the predetermined mood. All the sounds - from beatbox and vocals to saxophone, clarinet and harmonica - are recorded live and mixed into electronic beats using a loop station. The music becomes its own stage character with which the performers interact, argue and grow. A red AUX cable runs through the piece, creating chaos - and bringing everyone back together again. "Foley" moves between vulnerability, trust and playful silliness.
