FLINTA Music Producer Hangout

Hey everyone,
Would you like to make music together?
In this Hangout, FLINTA producers will get together to produce music, meet new people, and just have a good time.
You don’t have to be a pro. The only requirement is that you’re already producing music with a DAW.

How does it work?
We’ll meet at Alte Utting in the Maschinenraum.
To start, we’ll present a few topic ideas and then decide together what we’d like to work on.
After that, you’ll have about an hour to produce something related to the topic.
The theme is just meant to serve as a little inspiration. Sometimes it just helps to have a starting point.
You can work alone, in pairs, or in a group—whatever you prefer.
In the last hour, we’ll listen together to what everyone has created. We’ll celebrate our tracks and applaud each other!

What to bring

* Laptop
* Headphones
* Feel free to bring your own equipment (e.g., drum machine, sampler, etc.)
* All the cables, adapters, and chargers you need—unfortunately, we don’t have any to lend out on site.

Why FLINTA?
Unfortunately, FLINTA people are still often underrepresented in music production. At many producer meetups and music events, most participants are men.
With this hangout, we want to create a space where FLINTA producers can relax, exchange ideas, network, and make music together.
Our goal isn’t to exclude anyone, but to create a place where more FLINTA people can feel comfortable and become visible.

Hey everyone,
we’re hosting a get-together to make music together.
This is a space for FLINTA producers to meet up, make music, connect with other musicians, and just have a good time.
You don’t need to be an expert—just comfortable working with a DAW is enough.

How it works
We’ll meet at Alte Utting in the Maschinenraum.
To start, we’ll throw out a few theme ideas, then decide together what we want to work on.
After that, we’ll spend about an hour creating something based on the theme.
The theme is just there to provide a bit of direction and help get things started, since it can sometimes be difficult to get started. 
You can work on your own, in pairs, or in groups.
In the last hour, we’ll listen to what everyone created. Share tracks, give feedback, and celebrate each other’s work.

What to bring

- Laptop
- Headphones
- Any gear you like to use for production (drum machines, samplers, etc.)
- Cables, adapters, chargers. Please bring everything you need; we won’t have extras on site
