KÔRNEL is the music project founded in 2021 around Konstantin Kornel and a collective of talented musicians in the field of alternative artpop/rock.
The debut album "The Mechanisms of our own (Mis)fortune" was released on September 7, 2024 - a cross-genre journey from singer-songwriter to alternative rock to metal. The latest single "Lizard Heart" was released in October 2025
With intense themes ranging from emotional crises to political-feminist issues, KÔRNEL breaks musical conventions and has been thrilling audiences on stages such as Bonnfest and the NatFak Campus Festival since 2022.
KÔRNEL is currently working on new material, some of which they will present at Musik im Park!

The Walking Whale is a psychedelic prog rock band from Bonn. The band moves between progressive song structures, psychedelic soundscapes and dynamic interplay. Long instrumental passages meet calm, atmospheric parts and powerful outbursts.
Inspired by bands such as Pink Floyd, Genesis and King Crimson, The Walking Whale develop their own sound without committing themselves stylistically. Instead of classic song formulas, the focus is on development, mood and musical freedom.
The band is currently working on a debut concept album that deals with human emotions and time. Live, the group focuses on dense arrangements, tension curves and intense interplay that leaves room for improvisation and takes the audience with them.
