SEITENKLÄNGE - Musical Reading
Anna Kasten, Amelie Schubert, Mia Dräger, and Louisa-Charlotta Garbe take the term “musical reading” literally and present a captivating blend of literary texts and selected songs. The texts are by or about musicians, recount concerts and the lives of artists, describe the magic of music, and—combined with the songs performed and sung live—create an extremely diverse program.
The four young artists perform cover songs by artists such as Nina Hagen, Bob Dylan, and Karussell. The music is complemented by short stories and excerpts from novels by authors such as Alexander Orang, Elke Heidenreich, and Marina Leky.
Sometimes humorous, sometimes profound—always personal and moving.
