They met and experimented:
How do you write in a way that’s easy to understand?
And still tell a good story?
One that touches people?

People with learning difficulties have tested them:
Are the texts understandable?

In September, the authors will read from their works.
In plain language.

For the first time.
For everyone.‍

On September 1 at 5 p.m.:
Writing Workshop Discussion

There will also be a second workshop discussion:
Workshop Discussion: Literary Translation.
On September 22 at 5 p.m.

How can participants follow along?

Alexandra Lüthen will moderate the event.
The texts and discussions are in plain language.
Inga Schiffler will be there as a comprehension assistant.
She helps everyone understand.
Jona Neugebauer draws simple pictures.
That also helps with understanding.

Do you need to register?

Everyone is welcome to attend the workshop discussions.
Participation is free.
No registration is required.

Where do the discussions take place?

The discussions are held at Lettrétage.
It’s a venue for literature in Berlin-Mitte.
For example, they host readings and discussions about literature.

Here’s how to get to the STUDIO:

• Walk through the courtyard.
• At the back on the left, there’s a staircase leading to the 1st floor.
  You’ll arrive directly at the STUDIO.
• Or you can take the elevator.
  It’s right there on the left, past the entrance to the courtyard.
  Take the elevator to the first floor.
  From there, a balcony walkway leads to the studio.
