NACHT DER MUSEEN-SPECIAL - der Auftakt zum Stadtstrand-Sommer

After 2022, the Kunst- und Kulturstrand is once again part of the spectacular Düsseldorf Night of Museums!

The focus today is on a sing-along concert by and with SARAH BOUWERS, a piano concert by open-air pianist JIANDO, a live concert by American soul singer PEYTON and guest appearances by INA and BOBY PURAKAL, as well as a film projection of a live action painting by WALTER PADAO, a writing performance by writer VERA VORNEWEG and a light projection on the Oberkassel Bridge.

Schedule:

6 pm: VERA VORNEWEG - writing performance by the Düsseldorf writer and artist, who will decorate a city beach container with the anti-war novel "Die Waffen nieder" by Bertha von Suttner.

6 p.m.: SARAH BOUWERS - sing-along concert. The multi-talented and exceptionally talented singer invites all visitors with a passion for singing to an early evening of uncomplicated singing and fun. No previous knowledge, no sheet music required, everyone is welcome.

8 pm: PEYTON & FRIENDS. "The Voice of Soul", international soul music star and entertainer from the USA PEYTON invites you on a journey through the world of soulful house and indulges in the childhood memories of his musical roots in his father's Pentecostal church. The exceptional musicians INA and BOBBY PURAKAL complete the evening with further vocal interludes.

10 p.m.: WALTER PADAO - film projection live action painting. The painter and performer explores ways of incorporating movement and time into classical painting. This happens in interaction with representatives of ephemeral art forms, dancers and musicians in performances. In his film contribution, projected onto a screen, he shows how such a painting is created.

22:30: JIANDO - piano concert. The open-air pianist will delight audiences with dreamy ballads and familiar classics on his concert grand piano at the best hour of the night by candlelight.

WARM-UP: Beforehand, DJ LUKE FRÖHLICH will set the mood for the night of all nights with his groovy and funky tunes.
