Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) is a normal teenager. He loves his mom, his girlfriend Amy, his old Ford Mustang, and horror movies. The only things that sometimes give Charley trouble are math problems and Amy’s virginity. But there’s one thing that makes him seem completely crazy: he’s firmly convinced that a vampire has moved into the house next door. But no one believes him. Even the washed-up TV host Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall), who recounts his vampire adventures on TV every night, thinks Charley is crazy. Only one person takes the boy seriously—dead seriously, in fact: neighbor Jerry Dandridge (Chris Sanderson). He wants to silence Charley for good...
