NEDE X Bernhard & Meyer "Two Perspectives"

The exhibition brings together two artistic perspectives that meet at opposite ends of the same question:

NEDE focuses on objects that have lost their value; Bernhard & Meyer on the moment when art acquires value.

In between, a dialogue unfolds about value, ownership, and meaning.

Starting August 24, the Atelierhaus Darmstadt will showcase works by NEDE and Bernhard & Meyer for four days. The exhibited works are united by a consistent minimalism and a quiet presence.

Both artists work with simple means and deliberately leave room for interpretation in their works. Their approach is reminiscent of Arte Povera: the technical effort takes a back seat to the idea.

Or, to quote Kant: “Art is that which gives rise to much thought.”
