NEIL FRANCES is a Los Angeles-based duo consisting of Australian-born Jordan Feller and Southern California-based Marc Gilfry. In 2018, after their Soundcloud demos were discovered by musicians like KCRW and Triple J, NEIL FRANCES had become a successful artist duo - practically by accident.

It's easy to understand why Gilfry and Feller teamed up in 2016 in the first place. Feller, an old-school hip-hop fan and former rave kid, had a knack for memorizing sounds and producing beats, while singer/guitarist Gilfry could write melodies and hooks on command. The resulting music crosses genres and consists of club-ready grooves with sonic influences from 80s/90s rave culture, 70s funk and soul, yacht rock and classic hip-hop. In a NEIL FRANCES song, you can hear a sample flip just as often as an indie guitar running through a tape machine.

Their debut EP "Took A While" (2018) with the hit single "Dumb Love" not only showcased their infectious sound, but also garnered praise from Complex and The Fader. Global attention soon followed when her project "Music Sounds Better With You", the house classic by Stardust, went viral, was certified gold in Australia and recorded hundreds of millions of streams worldwide.

In 2022, they finally released their debut album "There Is No Neil Frances", a concept album themed around manifestation and self-realization. With their second album "It's All A Bit Fuzzy", released in 2023, Feller and Gilfry were guided even more by their preference for a collaborative process, teaming up with emerging talents such as dreamcastmoe, St. Panther, PawPaw Rod and DRAMA to create an adventurous, shifting collection.The album has received support from KCRW, BBC6, Travis Mills, This Song Is Sick, SPIN, Rolling Stone and NME, among others, and GRAMMY.com wrote: "The eclectic mix of layered, infectious melodies invites multiple listens."

They've sold out numerous North American tours including Brooklyn Steel and The Novo, opened for acts like Jungle, Odesza and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and have become a staple on the festival scene, gracing the stages of nearly every prestigious North American festival including Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Corona Capital, Portola, Outside Lands and over fifteen more. They are already confirmed for Coachella, Bonnaroo and Electric Forest in 2024.
