Neromun

The first single from Neromun's new EP, Rien Ne Va Plus, will be released on November 23rd and will be presented on December 14th at the Roter Salon in the Volksbühne. In the style of the last releases, this is also rap music on a new level with Dada elements.

Neromun Growing up with J Dilla and MF Doom, but also with Pharrell, Destiny's Child and Nelly, it was clear to Dustin, as Neromun was born, as a teenager where he was heading. He was drawn away from tough, cynical battlerap and towards softer, more vulnerable R'n'B. This was already evident in his 2017 solo EP Sequel, which he released under his original stage name Negroman. It already came with a much more southern, pop-oriented sound, with more singsong and less battlerap adorning the beats. This development is now consistently continued in his latest album Blass, which Dustin released in 2021 under the stage name Neromun.

It took three years to really sharpen Neromun's pen. Many days alone at home between revising lyrics, picking beats and indulging in the endless flow of creativity. Just as many days in the studio together with his camp, where he worked with discipline. Boundaries of gender, class and origin are dissolving, but they are still represented.
