Networks. Gespräch und Abschlusstreffen Kurator*innen-Stipendium
In the organizer's words:
After nearly 25 years, the fellowship for young international curators—established jointly by the GfZK and the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony (KdFS)—is coming to an end. Since 2001, the Cultural Foundation has awarded the twelve-month fellowship at the GfZK annually. Since then, 21 fellows from 19 countries have helped shape the museum’s program and realized their own projects. In the process, a vibrant international network has emerged.
The group exhibition*Knoten der Zeit* (Knots of Time), currently on view at the GfZK through August 23, is the final project created as part of the fellowship.
At this closing event, Simon Kurti (current fellow), Eleni Michaelidi (2023–24 fellow), and Nini Palavandishvili (2009–10 fellow) will discuss international networks and transcultural curating.
Afterward, there will be a get-together with drinks and a DJ set on the GfZK’s rooftop terrace.
