"EINMAL RUM" could be an order - in the slightly snobbish club of a parallel universe on the edge of the university campus, where a certain Jules Verne used time travel to search through a guidebook for galactic explorers for a question that had long since been answered but forgotten.
Or the short form of a bet: whether it would be possible to explore 5 Earth-like planets in just 8 days on a round trip through the galaxy. Feline Fogg and her only equal fellow thinker Passepartout see their bizarre space expedition underpinned by steam science. What is a welcome opportunity for wealthy day thieves to make money turns out to be a necessity for our adventurers in order to save the Earth. More precisely: to save the human species from its demise, which it is currently bringing about with vehemence despite all reason.

How this can be done will become clear if only enough Homo sapiens come to the theater, walk out enlightened and spread their knowledge.
