Nine

"Nine" photographers bring together personal narratives that explore photography as a documentary form. The works range from underground burlesque and sacrifice zones in Lapland to architectural heritage and collective memory.

They tell of overcoming gender-specific violence, man-made relationships with animals and family ties.

The projects were created as part of a one-year seminar at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie with Mustafah Abdulaziz as mentor.
