Neusser Bürger-Schützenfest

From August 29 to September 2, 2025, Neuss city center will once again be transformed into a huge festival mile. The Neuss Bürger-Schützenfest - one of the largest public festivals in Germany - attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year and offers five days full of emotion, tradition and spectacular highlights.

• 17:00 - Opening of the fairground on Hammer Landstraße

• 22:30 - Grand fireworks display on the fairground

Saturday, August 30, 2025

• 12:00 - Raising of the flags at the Hessentor

• 17:00 - Parade on the market, tribute to the guard of honor in front of the arsenal

• 20:45 - Torchlight procession from Niedertor

Sunday, August 31, 2025

• 07:50 a.m. - Collection of the shooting king at the town hall

• 08:10 a.m. - Quirinus Minster Basilica festive service

• 10:10 am - King's parade on the market square

• 16:15 - Parade through the town

• 19:00-21:00 - Square concert, ring stabbing, dancing in the marquee

• 21:00 - Grenadier ball in the marquee

Monday, September 1, 2025

• 15:45 - Parade through the town to the Schützenwiese, prize bird shooting, ring shooting, children's entertainment, dancing in the marquee

• 19:30 - Retreat of the regiment and parade through the town

• 21:00 - Hunters' ball in the marquee

Tuesday, September 2, 2025

• 15:15 - Parade through the town to the Schützenwiese

• 18:15 - King bird shooting

• 19:45 - Grand Tattoo in the marquee

• 20:30 - Parade through the town with the new shooting king
