She is one of the most extraordinary songwriters of our time and it is impossible to imagine the German indie scene without her: Katharina Kollmann aka NICHTSEATTLE. Her music is both folk and indie rock, and with her five-piece band she manages to interweave the political and the private in a coherent, eloquent, sensitive and artfully meandering way like no other. No pseudo-sentimentality and no frippery, instead incredibly expressive, weepingly beautiful songs that are one thing above all: incomparably good!
