When Nick van Delft first picked up an electric guitar in Ontario, Canada, his stepbrother's music collection played a major role in shaping his unique voice and guitar tone. Nick van Delft (Zodiac) has taken his authentic musical style and love of handmade music from small clubs to the Wacken Open Air. "The blues will always be at the core of my playing and singing, it's who I am."

On his recordings, designed to capture and showcase his dedication forever, van Delft received acclaim from the international press and his loyal fans.

A new and truly exciting group has been formed to celebrate the "Blues with a splash of this and that". With Sascha Oeing on bass (Hilden, Richie Arndt, Big Jay McNeely) and Jochen Welle on drums (Hilden, Zinowsky) - both long-established musicians on the German blues and jazz scene - they let handmade music speak for itself.

The Nick van Delft Group, influenced and driven by a wide range of music, from country to rock to jazz, always plays with the blues as its foundation. With their brand new material, they play with intense improvisation and creativity to emphasize that there are no limits ... it's Blues Time, that's for sure!

In the late summer of 2024, NvDG went into the studio to record a few of their favorite tracks in a live recording session. What was intended as a demo quickly developed into a spontaneous improv session, and it soon became clear that something bigger would emerge. In the end, six original interpretations of blues classics and one original composition found their way onto a vinyl album to be released in fall 2025. Selected streaming providers will also be supplied.
