Last summer, Nils Keppel was still considered an insider tip, but the 23-year-old quickly became the protagonist of one of the most exciting trends in recent music history with songs like "222" and "Wellblech". Now Keppel is announcing a new single and his first headlining tour.

What began as a frenetic one-man show literally underground - in front of a handful of tightly packed people in a basement in southern Germany - has quickly grown into a musical tour de force. Nils Keppel and his three-piece live band played everything from the Oettinger Villa in Darmstadt to Open Flair, from the Reeperbahn Festival to the legendary Berlin club Tresor during this year's festival summer. Now the multi-instrumentalist from Kandel in Rhineland-Palatinate is bringing his idiosyncratic take on post-punk and noise-pop to "Die heile Welt 2024" tour, presented by Diffus and ByteFM.

The energetic new single "Benzin", which Keppel produced in collaboration with Dennis Borger (Betterov, Fibel) and in which the baritone sings about the moment just before doom in his very own style, offers a foretaste of the upcoming concerts.
