A beautiful day, nine adventurous characters meet a circus with an artist who, perhaps, swallows a whole firework display.
And then there's another knock. Was that yesterday or today on the third floor? Apparently it's a carpet being worked on.
The experts for the absurd remain on a park bench and discover a steamer, don't they? And isn't that Mrs. Basch's dog running across the street? Irmchens Schirmchen dances, two clown-like figures appear and want to have a chat. Ladies, ladder makers and quick-change artists forget their neighbor's name and look for their glasses. But they never stop dreaming. Quiet, shuffling footsteps can be heard and the radio delicately plays the request concert. The curtain falls, the band continues to play. And the question of happiness remains unanswered once again. Yes, it's a beautiful day here in this place of rendezvous between desire and reality, between longing and hope.

Nowhere is it like here!

In its new production, Theater Apropos mixes texts from Karl Valentin to Monty Python with its own ideas and self-composed music. A collage full of charm, poetry, wit and melancholy.
