The art gallery "IT'S ART, BABY!" presents the exhibition "Blanc et Noir: The Duality Exhibit", which focuses on the artists Sina Mostafawy and Patrick Domo.

"Blanc et Noir" represents a completely new perspective on art, with artists deliberately dispensing with the color spectrum and focusing instead on the visual power of black, white and shades of grey. By limiting themselves to monochrome tones, viewers are encouraged to focus on elements other than color, such as composition, image content, light and shapes.

The result of this creative pushing of boundaries is both liberating and intriguing. Viewers will discover details and textures that they may have missed before and gain new perspectives on familiar themes. The exhibition "Blanc et Noir" invites you to see art with new eyes and to establish a deeper connection to the works presented.

In this exhibition, Sina Mostafawy presents works from his series "The Real Influencers", which depicts personalities such as Muhammed Ali and Gandhi. The targeted reduction to black and white focuses on the emotional intensity and timeless relevance of these personalities, whose presence has a lasting effect on countless people.

Berlin-based artist Patrick Domo presents works from his "Nostalgia" series, which subtly and introspectively explore themes of the past. Through the use of black and white tones, motifs such as power, love, war and oppression are depicted in a multi-layered way that encourages the viewer to reflect.

The exhibition begins on March 12 and runs until May 12, 2024.
