A warm welcome to a Nordstadt Session Super Edition:
We’ll begin the evening by preparing and mindfully sharing a traditional cocoa drink together. For generations, cocoa has been cherished in various cultures as a heart-opening communal drink that invites us to experience the moment mindfully. Accompanied by songs and simple rituals, the ceremony creates a safe space to settle in, find peace, and connect with yourself and others. The event transitions into the Open Stage and wraps up with a round of “Ecstatic Dance” to the atmospheric, groovy tunes of LUB! 
Soulfood is back again, too! 

We invite you to a particularly sensory evening filled with shared sounds, singing, and delights for the heart and palate.

The Nordstadt Sessions are an open-format event for music, culture, and community in the Borsigplatz neighborhood. This Special Edition brings together different forms of expression and invites you to sing along, dance along, or simply be part of the experience.

The Nordstadt Sessions are a project by Julia Rumi / Machbarschaft Borsig11 e.V. in cooperation with the BVB-Gründerkirche, supported by the Landesmusikrat NRW and the Kulturbüro Dortmund, and brought to life with the help of the residents of the Borsigplatz neighborhood.
