The Nouruz festival (translated: new day) is celebrated at the beginning of spring in some parts of the world, including Iran. It symbolizes new beginnings, growth and cohesion. Something that is needed more than ever in these times. Not only for those Iranians who support and uphold the Iranian Revolution under the motto "Woman, Life, Freedom". This celebration is to commemorate the innocent victims of recent years, but also to send strength and energy to all those who are fighting for freedom, human rights and women's rights in Iran. We welcome the new Persian year with traditional Persian music, dances, songs and theater.

The musical program will be provided by Maahak, a singer, guitarist and pianist of exceptional talent. As well as the renowned Iranian musicians, Pezhman Shirazi and Hessam Aldin Tavakoli, who will bring the sounds of a new beginning from Iran to the stage with traditional instruments such as the tonbak and the dotar. The artist Bardia Taghipoor will transport us into the atmosphere of the Iranian revolution with his songs. The Kurdish violinist Azad Khoshnaw will enchant us with his soulful melodies. The dance interludes by Minoo Baghershahi and Narges Golshanraz with their unforgettable voices, as well as various video contributions are further highlights of the program.
