Now Dr. Bert Rabe—the band the world was still missing—is back. It now consists of four heads, each with a body attached below, which they use to play their instruments. But for simplicity’s sake, you can just picture them as heads: They’re hanging, for example, next to a stuffed capercaillie on some nicotine-stained bar wall, listening to the crowd. And then they search there for scenarios from the past or the future—or who knows where—to transform them into raven songs—vocals, keyboard, beer tap, synthesizer, violin, drums, bass, electrical outlet, cigarette. But now you need more than just their heads to imagine just how hard that hits you.
