We live on the "Blue Planet", 71% of which is covered in water, like an organism that keeps everything in fluid contact with each other. The multinational theater group antagon theaterAKTion develops joint strategies for a new awareness of water-related environmental issues in its artistic exploration of this element and subject area.
new awareness of water-related environmental issues based on creativity, shared knowledge and collective action. It explores how our bodies, which themselves consist of up to 70% water, are connected to the waters of the world, what stories of the oceans we carry within us and what dividing but also connecting forces the world's oceans and rivers can unfold.

At the Night of the Museums in Frankfurt, antagon theaterAKTion presented excerpts from the new play O.C.E.A.N - performing blue (working title) for the first time and met with great audience interest. With the help of dance, sound, light installations and interactive spatial design, the performance visualizes the topic of water in a wide variety of facets and encourages the audience to reflect on time, space and the consequences of climate change. On Saturday, May 2 at 9 p.m., the ensemble will once again open up the work process on the cultural grounds of protagon e.V. in the east of Frankfurt and invites you to a retrospective that shows further facets of the resulting performance.
