In the organizer's words:
Since 2012, the 1st Bremen Ukulele Orchestra has been performing on stages, streets and squares in and around Bremen with songs from various centuries, continents, styles, tones and time signatures, mostly with polyphonic vocals. Only the instrumentation is rather one-sided: all ukuleles :-), apart from the bass (the giant ukulele) and occasionally an additional instrument.
The result is a wild mixture of sea music, pop, country, folk and rock songs. Definitely a great atmosphere with small instruments, to sing along, snap along, dance along.
