Form, color and light are the defining elements in the visual cosmos of internationally renowned photographer Jessica Backhaus. With works from eight series, the most comprehensive exhibition to date provides a deep insight into Backhaus' lyrical and colorful photography of the last 25 years. From her early documentary works from "Jesus and the Cherries" to her gradual turn towards abstraction and her latest series "Papyrus", which is presented here for the first time, the selection traces the breadth and subtlety of her oeuvre.
