A BALL WITH A SPECIAL FLAIR

In 2024, we will once again open our ball season with the Oide Wiesn Bürgerball. In a short space of time, this special ball has become a crowd-puller. Once again, dance-loving guests in smart traditional Bavarian costumes can look forward to first-class music and a varied program in a relaxed atmosphere.

BAVARIA, CUSTOMS AND BRASS MUSIC

Guests at the Oide Wiesn Bürgerball can expect "a ball for all those who are involved in the Oktoberfest and for all those who love the tradition and flair of the Oktoberfest and especially the Oide Wiesn", says Karl-Heinz Knoll, President of the Festring, which is committed to preserving Bavarian and especially Munich customs.

FROM GOASSLSCHNALZEN TO MUNICH FRANÇAIS

The program also includes performances by the two Gau associations with dancing, Schuhplatteln and Goaßlschnalzen as well as the joint dance of the traditional costume couples from the 22 Gau associations of the Bavarian Traditional Costume Association. And the popular Munich Française at a late hour is also a must.

INFORMATION ON CATERING

Our catering partner Käfer and its team will continue to cater for our guests in 2024. Together, we have developed a new concept in the spirit of greater sustainability. You can pre-order your desired menu or dish on a dedicated website. It is no longer possible to order menus and main courses on the evening itself. This enables optimal planning and catering for guests. Snacks and small dishes will still be available on site on the evening of the ball.
