Actor and author Oliver Wnuk reads from his new book "Besser wird's nicht" (Lappan Verlag, Feb. 2026), accompanied by the legendary stick figures of cartoonist kriegundfreitag. Together they create a stage for what lies between everyday life and the abyss, self and ego, the search for happiness and self-irony.
In a multimedia reading show, personal texts meet projected cartoons - live, clever, funny, edgy.
An evening for all those who don't expect any solutions, but are in the mood for new perspectives.

What is it about?
About love and doubt. About noise and emptiness. About comparing, getting bogged down, losing - and the little happiness in between.
With a twinkle in his eye, sometimes with a lump in his throat - and perhaps one more thought in his luggage than before.

Wnuk has been on the road continuously and successfully since 2024 with his program "WNUK DENKT LAUT UND LIEST WAS VOR - die autobiographisch eingetunkte Leseshow".
He has now packed some of the texts from this program into this book, which will be published on his 50th birthday, just in time for the food festival and will be celebrated at the Pasinger Fabrik on 29.1.

Tobias Vogel, born in 1982, known as @kriegundfreitag, has been publishing his funny stick figures on social networks since 2017. He won the Grimme Online Award in the "Culture and Entertainment" category in 2019 and the Max and Moritz Audience Award in 2020.

Oliver Wnuk, born in 1976, known from "Stromberg", "Nord Nord Mord", among others, has been thrilling millions of moviegoers and TV viewers every year for over 25 years. At the same time, he has written novels, screenplays, children's books, theater and radio plays, essays for print media and the like.
