Ireland is everywhere and anytime, Scotland too. Since 1984, the band O'Malley... out in the cold has been playing their way through concert halls, festivals, pubs and all kinds of festivities and venues that can be spontaneously transformed into an Irish or Scottish pub. With multi-instrumentalist Oswald Schimek (guitar, Irish bouzuki, banjo, tin whistle, harp, bodhrán, vocals), singer Wende Weigand (vocals, guitar) and fiddler Matthias Merzbacher (fiddle, vocals, shaking), the repertoire ranges between traditional and modern Celtic folk in the O'Malley style. This band's own style does not shy away from country, rock and blues influences. And sometimes even a bit of Franconian creeps in!
