OnView – Transformation
In the organizer's words:
OnViewis a curated film series presented by PalaisPopulaire: Each spring and fall, the venue presents films by international artists on a specific theme over a period of up to eight weeks. Titled“Transformation,” the fourth editionbrings togetherworks by Lida Abdul, Vajiko Chachkhiani, VALIE EXPORT, Selma Selman, Sam Taylor-Johnson, and Gernot Wieland.
ForOnView – Transformation, works were selected that reflect different meanings and interpretations of “transformation.” Set in social or political contexts, the films explore transience, the desire for change and transformation, as well as stagnation and stagnancy.
