OnView – Transformation
In the organizer's words:
OnView is a curated film series at the PalaisPopulaire: each spring and fall, the venue presents films by international artists on a specific theme over a period of up to eight weeks. Under the title Transformation , the fourth edition brings together works by Vaijko Chachkhiani, Selma Selman, Sam Taylor-Johnson and Gernot Wieland, among others.
As in the previous presentations, works have been selected for OnView - Transformation that reflect the different meanings and interpretations of the term. Situated in social or political contexts, the films deal with change and transformation, with reversal and transformation and allow the opposites to be recognized and disappear at the same time.
