Reading and film screening with Sigrid Klausmann and Walter Sittler

Reading from the book accompanying the documentary film series “199 Little Heroes” starting at 2:30 p.m. at the mobile library at Römerkastell (in front of the REWE), followed by a screening of three short documentaries at the nearby Hallschlag Community Center, Am Römerkastell 69, starting around 3:30 p.m.

“199 Little Heroes” is a global film series project that was sponsored by the German Commission for UNESCO for several years. The goal is to portray a child in as many countries as possible and give that child a voice. The unifying theme—the walk to school—symbolizes the journey into life, the right to education, and a bright future for all children.
