If no one has ever awarded you a medal... then just do it yourself!

In our workshop, you can paint your own porcelain carnival medal - made especially for you by Porzellan Studio Philyra at Areal Böhler. As individual as your costume, your troupe and your ability to spread glitter everywhere.

Whether you're a lone wolf or a whole chaos combo:
Come along, wield your paintbrush and design the medal you've always deserved - and if we have our way, the one you don't actually deserve.

Fun fact from carnival history:

The carnival medal was invented in Cologne because people wanted to make fun of the military Prussians.
In a nutshell:
The people of Cologne were like, "Oh, you have medals?
Cool. We'll make our own. More colorful. Bigger. And with a lot more ruckus!"

In 1824, a carnival princess presented a medal - and promptly received one in return.
And bang, since then, carnivalists have been collecting medals like other fridge magnets (only shinier and heavier).
