On August 22, there will be a concentrated load of choral power on the Domshof:
The Ukrainian choir Gloria UA will be performing! The choir director, singer, songwriter and singing teacher Yana Wermuth and the Bremen pianist, church musician and pop cantor Falko Wermuth founded this special choir of women who now live in Bremen: free, courageous and indomitable Ukrainian women who were not afraid to give up everything for the safety and happiness of their own children. "We want to build bridges between our culture and German culture," say the two artists, who give the choir its soul from Ukrainian tradition and pop culture. The range of the singers is enormous and extends from sensitive ballads about topics such as war and loss to encouraging, groovy pieces that call for freedom and justice.
