Making Easter decorations from porcelain

Porcelain - the diva among ceramic materials - conquers the Easter season in this workshop! In this workshop, we will learn various porcelain production processes.

Together we will immerse ourselves in the art of casting with plaster molds and create our own festive Easter decorations. You will cast your own personal set from Easter egg molds using porcelain casting slip. You will learn the individual steps of the production process: from mixing and pouring to demolding and trimming, glazing, firing and decoration techniques.

We will also create Easter motifs using cookie cutters. You will learn how to make motifs with clay. Once you have trimmed everything, you can start the drying phase and then fire once at 960°. After the 1st firing, glaze according to your wishes and fire for the 2nd time at 1260°

Afterwards, your jewelry must be individually decorated at a 2nd appointment in consultation and then fired again. We need 1 ½ hours for the 2nd appointment.
