An album in two stages: "Leichte Teile, Kleiner Rock" (1996 "Leichte Teile" / 1998 "Kleiner Rock"). But it's really good for that. 25 years later we bring it back: the Schrammelrockfeeling. The question of band and songs still remains. Hamburg school? Finally redundant. This time the timing is right!

In 1989 Dirq Niemann sees the Hamburg band Ostzonensuppenwürfelmachenkrebs in Detmold. He decides to become a tour promoter and goes to Berlin. In the fall of 2018, OZSWMK reaches a message from nämlichem booker: whether they would not like to play again. Absurd idea, the last tour was in 1999, "Light Parts, Small Rock". On the other hand, why not? After all, there were only a dozen gigs on the album, but they had been working on it for almost four years and the career of the band, founded in 1986, seemed perhaps a bit premature. There were also increasing signs that "Leichte Teile, Kleiner Rock" had certainly left its mark, possibly even on those under 50. The format "A band plays a record" thus seemed to be the right one.

So an idea developed that even a pandemic and recruitment difficulties could not stop. Now, in the spring of 2023, the first gigs are scheduled, a tour will follow in the fall, and the album will be released on vinyl for the first time on its 25th anniversary.

We are looking forward, are excited and have no idea how it will turn out. But why not, actually?
