Outdoor Watercolor Workshop

Would you like to sit in a park and paint with watercolour? Come and join us and learn to paint with watercolour by direct observation. Join us for this painting workshop where you learn how to see colors, shapes and light and shadows right in front of you and paint them freely. I will show you step by step with easy instructions how to paint architecture and city landscape. All materials included and you just need to book a place and come and join us.

The main focus of the workshop is painting architecture and 2 Point Perspective.

Here are the learning targets from this workshop:

• How to measure sizes and proportions

• Simplify complex buildings into large shapes to paint

• Composition design

• Basics of Watercolour painting outdoors

• Color mixing and watercolour techniques

• Focal point & details focus

• Creating exciting texture with watercolour

This workshop is designed for beginners to intermediate levels and you don't need any previous experience with watercolour or outdoor painting.

This is an outdoor workshop organized in a park near Kunstpalast. Make sure you check the weather conditions one day before the workshop to have warm clothing with you to stay dry and warm. You can also bring a foldable stool with you if you don't want to stand up or a small blanket to sit outside comfortably. The workshop is in English but I also speak German, Farsi and Turkish if you prefer.
