Paint your pet!

Turn your favorite photo of your pet into a one-of-a-kind painting— no prior experience in painting or drawing required!

Whether you want to give it to a loved one as a gift or keep it as a special statement piece for your home—you’ll go home with a portrait that’s entirely your own. And we hope that every time you look at it, it will remind you of a wonderful, creative evening in our studio.

After booking, simply email your favorite photo of your pet to info@drinkanddrawberlin.com. Use “Paint Your Pet” as the subject line and include the date of your workshop. Please make sure the photo’s orientation (portrait or landscape) matches the desired orientation of your painting, as we’ll prepare your canvas accordingly. We’d also love to know your pet’s name—just include it in the email!

Before the workshop, our professional instructor will sketch your pet by hand onto your canvas so that you can start painting with acrylics right away when you arrive.

Throughout the workshop, our instructor will guide you step by step and show you simple techniques for painting eyes, noses, fur, feathers, and much more. You’ll also learn the basics of color mixing.

Our beautiful studio in the historic Funkhaus offers the perfect setting for a creative evening. With its unique industrial charm, cozy lounge areas, inspiring art books, summery garden terrace, and our inviting bar, it’s a place where you’ll want to linger before or after the workshop. Whether you come alone or with friends —our studio exudes a warm, open, and relaxed atmosphere.

• All painting supplies as well as an apron, which we’ll provide for you here
• A hand-drawn sketch of your pet, prepared in advance on your canvas

Good to know

• Drinks are not included.
• You’re more than welcome to join, even if you already have experience painting.
• The workshop will be held in German and/or English, depending on the group’s needs.
• You can take your painting home right after the workshop. We’ll provide small carry bags, but your canvas will also fit easily into a linen bag.
• Your pet will be sketched out in advance, but the background is left blank—after all, your pet is the star of the evening! If you’d like, you can of course still design a background during the workshop.
