This year we are celebrating the Palais birthday a little earlier, so not just around May Day. But of course we'll still be celebrating the 24th anniversary in full, as usual, i.e. with two nights, the second of which will go on until midday. It all kicks off at 1 a.m. on the freshly dawned Saturday night with a line-up that will put you in a good mood and make you want to come early. The best-known face is DJ and producer Marcus Meinhardt, who has been making his mark on the Berlin club scene for many years, including through his own label Heinz Music, founded in 2012. He earned his first spurs as a DJ at the legendary Bar25 club and is now an important member of the Katerholzig family. Berlin is his home, but as a cosmopolitan Marcus Meinhardt feels at home practically everywhere. In summer, the tech house master loves to hit various festivals in Europe, such as Fusion and Garbicz. In winter, his travel destinations can be further afield and warmer in temperature. Asia (especially Thailand, now something like his second home), Australia and South America are then on his flight radar. Of course, Munich is comparatively close by and Marcus is therefore regularly one of our lively palace guards. It's good to see that he is happily topping up his sleep deficit account on our birthday too.

Marcus will be receiving active support that night from the wide-awake Corleone-Don TOSH from FUNKuisine, who will once again be stirring up fresh concoctions in his tried-and-tested collaboration with Tobias Christian, the initiator of the Starkstrom Festival. La Leona and Chris.Me will also be performing a duet that night. The two are enthusiastic Marcus Meinhardt fans and inspired by his sound. For them, music should make them equally happy on the dance floor and behind the decks. In their sets between tech house and indie dance, everything revolves around good vibes, euphoric moments and the creation of an energy boost that makes it impossible to stand still. They always sprinkle in great remixes or beloved classics as a surprise.
