Ahhyun Lee began her musical education at the age of six. She studied at the Seoul National University. She regularly performs at piano competitions, concerts and festivals and is particularly interested in new music. For example, she performed the program Hommage Toru Takemitsu at the Japanese Cultural Institute in Cologne.

The musical program will be accompanied by Raphael Ng, who will express the sounds of the concert in images as part of an artistic performance. He is a contemporary artist from Singapore who studied painting at the Lasalle College of the Arts in Singapore and now lives and works in Dresden. In his performative drawings with charcoal and Chinese ink on large-format paper, he translates musical compositions through vivid, gestural interpretations - he makes sound visible through the intensity of charcoal and pastel strokes as well as calligraphic features of Chinese ink.

The Palais Sommer is the big open-air festival in Dresden. It combines music, art, dance, yoga, workshops, literature, gastronomy and much more. Free admission.

In 2026, the Palais Sommer will take place on Dresden's Neumarkt from June 20 to July 26. Afterwards, the daily yoga program will continue in Alaunpark until 30 August. A total of around 200 events are planned.
