Palais Summer Festival: Premiere - Dresden All Stars (DE) I Free admission

The Dresden All Stars are a newly formed ensemble of leading musicians from the Dresden jazz scene. Inspired by international festival all-star bands, the project emerged from the collaboration at the Dresden Dixieland Festival.

With musicians from bands such as the Swinging Bluebirds, the Blue Wonder Jazzband, the Elb Meadow Ramblers and Micha Winkler's Hotjazzband, the Dresden All Stars unite the concentrated energy of the Dresden hot jazz scene. Together they bring the traditional New Orleans jazz of the 1920s and 30s to the stage with enthusiasm, virtuosity and a fresh sound.

The close musical bond between the musicians - shaped by many years of joint projects and their training at the Dresden Academy of Music - ensures a lively, spontaneous interplay full of passion and swing.

The Palais Sommer is the big open-air festival in Dresden. It combines music, art, dance, yoga, workshops, literature, gastronomy and much more. Free admission.

In 2026, the Palais Sommer will take place from June 20 to July 26 on Dresden's Neumarkt square. Afterwards, the daily yoga program will continue in Alaunpark until 30 August. A total of around 200 events are planned.
