PARALLELE WELTEN
In the organizer's words:
What if each of our decisions created a new reality? Perspectives, coincidences, and worlds overlap. An evening about what is—and what could just as easily have been.
The world is not unambiguous. It emerges in the moment. From countless possibilities, does a single reality emerge—or many realities at once? What if each of our decisions opened up a new world? What if all versions of our lives existed side by side?
These thoughts may seem almost trivial, yet they lead to the profound and complex physical theory of the multiverse. The piece PARALLEL WORLDS by Tanzlabor Leipzig, under the artistic direction of Roman Windisch, invites you to explore these multifaceted connections through dance.
Images give rise to spaces that shift, overlap, and repeat. In the process, dance, language, and music engage in an equal exchange. Bodies encounter one another as variations of themselves; movements find their echo in sound, and language runs parallel to them—or crosses dimensions to create new connections.
The stage dissolves. Perspectives shift. Proximity and distance change. The audience becomes part of a fabric of viewpoints, possibilities, and coincidences. Between repetition and change, a space unfolds in which decisions become visible while remaining open-ended.
