How does physical labor affect people and the environment? The discussion will focus on the history of the Leipzig Cotton Mill as a site of industrial production and its connections to global conditions of exploitation and extraction. How did workers here live, produce, and shape their daily lives? And how do these local stories relate to ecologies elsewhere in the world?
