Program

The neighborhood concert by the two stage academics Lara and Chiara revolves around the utopian potential of the pause, especially in relation to dealing with uncertain and overwhelming moments, as we are currently experiencing socially and repeatedly in our private lives. Breaks can be moments of rest, but also moments to gather strength or break out of social norms and the rut of everyday life. In collaboration with the pupils of the Blankenese district school and the Kreativhaus Eimsbüttel as well as the pianist Yuri Ota, we will process the various aspects into a joint concert evening in which the focus is on being together. Let's pause for a moment, listen to each other and sing together.

With music from baroque to modern, from Jules Massenet to Amy Beach and Caroline Shaw to Reinhard Mey.
