The Portuguese-Hanseatic Society invites all friends of Portuguese music to a fado concert with the music group Serenata Portuguesa. The Berlin-based ensemble of internationally recognized musicians delights audiences throughout Germany. Inspired by Coimbra Fado, a unique and poetic style of Portuguese music, they also perform contemporary music from the far southwest of Europe. The ensemble incorporates subtle influences from other genres with a sure instinct, creating an unmistakable sound that combines past and present.
Serenata Portuguesa offers more than just music - it invites the audience to immerse themselves in the cultural diversity of Portugal. Each performance is an invitation to discover the country's artistic heritage through sound, poetry and emotion.
