In the organizer's words:

ESCIF's visually stunning cycle begins and ends between rubber dinghy and soldiers, revealing the increasingly extreme effects and dimensions of ever-growing globalization. With apparent ease, he illustrates the harshness and connections between the increasing networking that is now taking place at all levels of our everyday lives and the consequences that go hand in hand with it - the fruits of neo-capitalism.

In a composition of watercolors, video installation, canvases and sculptures, ESCIF illuminates from wall to wall the various aspects of these fruits, which ripen through violence in the midst of destruction and ultimately nourish a suffering that not only in turn discharges itself in violence, but also leads to war, flight and uprooting in the global South.

The artist ESCIF, who hails from Valencia, Spain, is known for drawing attention to current social challenges and grievances through a combination of delicate visual aesthetics and black humor. As early as 2010, his long-time friend, the British street art icon BANKSY, described him as "the most underrated artist of the street-art-movement".

The artist's previous collaboration with the Munich art association Positive-Propaganda and the realization of several large-format murals - for example in the immediate vicinity of the main train station or at the Rossmarkt - has resulted in a very personal relationship of trust and work. On this basis, the idea, concept and realization of Germany's first ESCIF solo exhibition was developed together in 2023.
