On August 28, things are going to get loud at Peaces: Four bands are coming to the venue for the first edition of Peaces Live™. The lineup includes Boy Please, This Will Confuse You, Ricky Shark, and Nofyi.

Four acts, a small venue, and an evening that’s somewhere between a concert, a store, and a DIY festival.

Boy Please:

Surf pop. Lo-fi. Melancholy. BOY PLEASE is a DIY artist from Chemnitz, for fans of Current Joys, Surf Curse, and The Drums. From recording to release, everything is done independently. In his solo project, he blends unspoken emotions with driving sounds. BOY PLEASE delivers 2-minute tracks that blend garage rock attitude with nostalgia.

This Will Confuse You:

Expect anything, but this will confuse you: Here, shoegaze meets emo and post-rock—all performed live via a loop station. Guitars, synths, and drums come together to create dense, dreamy sounds in which a palpable, restless energy simmers. The songs explore life’s pain points, carried by vocals that oscillate between vulnerable whispers and a loss of control. A soundtrack for the everyday struggle in this society and the determination not to give up. It’s about refusing to be broken and finding your own voice. 

Ricky Shark:

Ricky Shark is a playful live solo project that dives deep into the 80s and 00s. From indie electronica to breakbeat, soft synth sounds meet live vocals. A dash of trashy Auto-Tune is a must here and there. What a Splash!

Nofyi:

William Orbit and Madonna are reunited. Well, almost.
Nofyi will play their very first concert ever at Peaces Live™.
